Green Cool Schools GROW Europe
The Green Cool Schools GROW Europe project is the next step in our journey towards more sustainable and greener schools in Europe. Funded by Erasmus+, this exciting follow-up project builds on the successes of Learning4Greens@Schools and Green Cool Schools Network, introducing new initiatives to make greening in schools even more accessible.
We aim to empower schools to implement greening projects easily and effectively. To achieve this, we are developing 15 building instructions for indoor and outdoor greening, which will be implemented by participating partner schools. Additionally, we are providing high-quality teaching materials and in-depth information on our website, which will be available in six languages – German, English, Spanish, Basque, Hungarian, and Irish. All materials will be freely accessible on our website.
A central aspect of the project is the expansion of our Green Cool Schools Network, where teachers from across Europe can share their experiences and ideas. Webinars, seminars, and international exchange formats in the project languages will facilitate networking and collaboration.
We are collecting and showcasing best practices from different countries to inspire other schools. Teachers and schools are warmly invited to participate in our surveys and present their own initiatives. School gardens, green classrooms, raised beds, or creative workshops – every idea counts and enriches our shared goal.
