1 0f our 3 balconies include troughs at the moment- für the next 2 schoolyears we want to go on with 2 more balconies: more plants, more shades, more fruits/vegetables for everybody.
What was the motiviation for the project?
We had to reduce the heat and dryness behind our glass-walls near our balconies. The microclimate had to change. We wanted to se plants during the brakes instead of naked grey balconies.
How is/was the project financed?
We contacted FFG.
What are the (planned results)?
Wisteria and Fallopia give us shade, so we can decrease the heat islands on the balconies. Students love gardening, watering and studying on the balconies.
