How to get started?

Would you also like to become part of our Green Cool Schools Network and share your innovative green initiative with us? This is how you join in:

I. Create an account!
To get started, please create an account on our website. This will allow you to submit your school’s green project and apply for the title of “Green Cool School.”

II. Submit your initiative!
The online questionnaire asks about your school and your green initiative.
Please provide clear and detailed descriptions so others can understand and learn from your project.
You can also upload photos or videos to illustrate your work.

If your school runs several green projects, feel free to submit a separate form for each initiative.
We kindly ask you to fill out the questionnaire in English, so that everyone in the network can understand your submission.

Please note that your answers will be visible to the public.
The submission deadline is 15. December 2026.

III. Green Cool Schools Award!
By submitting your project, you automatically take part in the Green Cool Schools Award.

Public voting will take place in January 2027, and every vote counts! The project receiving the highest number of eligible votes in each participating Green Cool Schools project country will be selected as a national winner.

Eligible winning projects may receive financial support of up to €500 to cover documented expenses directly related to the planning, implementation, improvement, or maintenance of their school greening project.

All winning projects will be announced during the international Green Cool Schools Webinar on 3 March 2027.
