Apply for the Green Cool Schools Award!
Does your school have a greening project or a great idea for making your school grounds greener, more sustainable or more climate-resilient? Submit your project and take part in the Green Cool Schools Award!
By submitting your initiative, your school also becomes part of the Green Cool Schools Network – a growing community of schools sharing ideas, experiences and inspiring examples from across Europe and beyond.
All submitted projects will be presented on our platform and included in the public voting for the Green Cool Schools Award. National winners from the Green Cool Schools project countries may also receive financial support of up to €500 for eligible project-related expenses.
You can submit completed, ongoing or planned projects. Examples include school gardens, green classrooms, tree planting, vertical greening, biodiversity areas, composting projects and many other initiatives that make schools greener and promote sustainability.
Schools that meet the Green Cool Schools Criteria will be recognised with the title “Green Cool School” – a visible sign of active environmental and climate protection on their own campus.
