Blähschiefer

Blähschiefer besteht aus zerkleinertem Schieferton. Die Körner besitzen eine plattenartige Form und sind sehr leicht.

Blähton

Blähton ist gemahlener Ton, der im Ofen bei 1.200 Grad Celsius gebrannt wird. Bei der Verbrennung bläht sich das Material kugelförmig bis auf das Vier- bis Fünffache des Ausgangsvolumens auf.
