Who takes care of the green elements?

during (selceted) teaching subjects, project days/week
We made a worm observation container, to observe how important the worms are for the earth, what they eat and how to care for them, We collected soil types, sand and small stones to fill the container, then collected the worms to add. Every day we feed the worms and check that they have water. we can observe them making tunnels in the earth and break down the leaves etc. on the surface. The kids are excited to see how the worms behave and we have also talked a lot about worms and the earth, in relation to our topic of the elements (currently earth)

To educate children from a young age about the environment and the importance of worms

it didn’t have any costs

What are the (planned) results?

we will re-release the worms into the garden at the end of the project. The idea is to get Kids excited and more observant about what goes on in the earth.

we all reserached and carried out the project together
