Parte se refleja. En su camino hacia la atm\u00f3sfera, gases como el di\u00f3xido de carbono (CO2), el ozono y el vapor de agua se reflejan de regreso a la tierra en forma de radiaci\u00f3n infrarroja. Este efecto calienta la tierra como un invernadero y asegura una temperatura media de 15 \u00b0C (en lugar de -18 \u00b0C). Este equilibrio natural es perturbado por los seres humanos a trav\u00e9s de las altas emisiones de gases, que reflejan cada vez m\u00e1s radiaci\u00f3n a la tierra, provocando un aumento de la temperatura.
